This week has been a very special milestone for Namaya and her family.
As thousands of visitors arrive for the RHS Sandringham Flower Show, our dogs have been quietly experiencing all the excitement from nearby during their training with Beau’s Pawsitive Dog Training.
For dogs who were once street dogs in Taiwan, calmly observing hundreds of people, increased traffic, unfamiliar sounds and so many new experiences is a remarkable achievement. Every positive experience helps them grow in confidence and trust.
Before Namaya and her puppies came into my life, I visiting the RHS Sandringham Flower Show. I loved wandering through the beautiful displays, admiring the incredible flowers and prize-winning vegetables that people had spent months growing, and coming home with new plants for the garden. Many of those plants are still growing today in my auntie’s garden, bringing back wonderful memories every summer.
This year has been very different.
Instead of walking around the Flower Show, I’ve been watching Namaya and her family discover this busy world from the edge of the Sandringham Estate.
So many lovely visitors have stopped to say hello. There have been families, children and fellow dog lovers, and although it can sometimes feel a little overwhelming for the dogs, they have coped incredibly well.
Of course, it isn’t perfect every moment—and that’s completely okay.
Training is never about perfection. There are still little glitches along the way, but we’re now seeing far more successes than setbacks. Watching the dogs settle, relax and quietly observe everything around them has been incredibly rewarding.
The photos and video below capture just a few of those moments. They don’t show perfection—they show progress, and we’re incredibly proud of that.
Looking back to where they began in Taiwan and seeing them now—healthy, one year old, confident and growing into such wonderful young dogs—reminds me why every single day of hard work has been worth it.
I’m so proud of Namaya and her family.
A heartfelt thank you to Sabrina and Beau’s Pawsitive Dog Training for providing such a positive, supportive environment where the dogs can continue to learn and thrive. The off-leash sessions in Sandringham and the positive one-to-one training are helping them build confidence, resilience and trust in the world around them.
🐾 Help Us Give Them More Days Like This

🌿 Our Bigger Goal
We are incredibly grateful to everyone supporting our journey to secure a permanent home for the Legend of Puppy Mercy Sanctuary.
Our dream is to create a sustainable, forever mercy sanctuary where Namaya and her family can remain together for the rest of their lives—a peaceful place where rescue dogs can recover, flourish and remain together as a family.
As our sanctuary grows, we hope to extend that same compassion to other rescue dogs who need time, patience and understanding to rebuild their confidence and simply enjoy life again.
Every walk, every training session, every donation and every act of kindness brings us one step closer to making that vision a reality.
Thank you for believing in our journey and walking alongside us.
🐾 VOLUNTEER WANTED 🐾
We’re looking for one more volunteer!
Can you spare 2 hours, once a week, to help us on our walking and training days?
You don’t need previous dog training experience—just a calm, kind nature, reliability and a love of dogs.
If you’d like to become part of our journey, please send a message to Sabrina or Genevieve Carter-Lenette, and we’ll happily arrange a meet-up.
We’d love to hear from you!
