A tired dog isn't always a happy dog
𤯠**Unpopular opinion: A tired dog isn't always a happy dog!**
We often hear that a dog needs more exercise.
More running.
More ball throwing.
More activity.
But what if your dog doesn't need MORE excitement?
What if they need time to slow down?
š½ Sniffing.
š³ Exploring.
š¾ Investigating interesting smells.
š Enjoying their surroundings.
These activities give dogs a chance to use their noses and can help them relax.
Of course, physical exercise matters too.
But dog enrichment isn't just about how far your dog walks or how fast they run.
**A slower, sniff-filled walk can be a wonderful experience for your dog.**
Sometimes the best part of a walk is the bit where you hardly move!
š Especially when your dog discovers that ONE blade of grass that apparently contains the entire neighbourhood's news.
